Getting started: Coffee Lover

A Coffee Lover account is for anyone who drinks coffee and wants to remember what they liked. You can keep a record of every coffee you buy, log each brew you make, rate it, and capture tasting notes — so the next cup is better than the last.

What a Coffee Lover account is for

• Tracking the coffees you buy from roasters and shops
• Logging brews with details like brew method, dose, and grind
• Rating each brew and recording tasting notes
• Spotting which coffees and brew settings you enjoy most over time

First steps after signing up

1. Pick the Coffee Lover persona. On the account setup screen, choose Coffee Lover under "I am a..." Then tell us how you drink coffee — Casual, Enthusiast, or Experienced. This tailors the app, including how much detail the tasting form asks for.
2. Start your free trial. New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access. No commitment during the trial.
3. Add a coffee you bought. Go to the coffee section and add a coffee from a roaster — its name, the roaster, and a few details. See How to add a coffee you bought for the full walkthrough.
4. Log your first brew. Head to the brewing section, start a new brew, pick the coffee you just added, and record how you made it. See How to log your first brew.

Tips

• You can change your experience level later in account settings if you want a simpler or more detailed tasting form.
• Brew often — the more you log, the more useful your history becomes for finding your favorites.
