Service
Clear, transparent terms for using our coffee management platform.
Last updated: May 21, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Roastr (the "Service"), provided by Roastr Inc. ("Roastr," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. The Service
Roastr is coffee roasting and brewing management software. It helps you track roasting profiles, brewing recipes, green bean inventory, tasting notes, and related analytics. The Service also includes public storefront features that let you publish a public-facing page for your roastery or coffee.
3. Accounts & Tiers
To use the Service you create an account and are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Roastr offers a free tier alongside paid tiers — Coffee Lover, Individual Roaster, and Commercial Roaster. Each tier includes different features and usage limits. Current pricing and the details of what each tier includes are described on our Pricing page.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree that you will not:
- Scrape, harvest, or run malicious or abusive automation against public storefront pages or any other part of the Service;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, degrade, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts and data;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
5. Your Data & Ownership
You retain ownership of the data you put into Roastr. You grant Roastr a limited license to store, process, and display that data solely to operate the Service for you.
You can export your data and delete your account at any time from Account Settings. For details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Billing & Cancellation
Paid plans are billed in accordance with the rates and billing periods shown on our Pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe.
If you cancel a paid plan, future billing stops and your account moves to the free tier at the end of your current billing period. Cancelling a paid plan does not delete your account or your data. Deleting your account is a separate, explicit action that you can take in Account Settings.
7. Changes to the Service
We may modify, add, or discontinue features of the Service over time as we continue to develop it. If we make a material change to the Service, we will communicate it to you by reasonable means.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROASTR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ROASTR INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and your access to the Service if you violate these Terms of Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account Settings.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
11. Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms of Service, please contact us at support@roastr.tech.
