Using Roastr

Setting up sharing and QR codes

Roastr can turn any coffee into a public taste profile page — a shareable view of its tasting information. You can share it with a link or generate a QR code to print on bags and signage so customers can scan it.

Where to find it

Open the Sharing section. You will see a list of your coffees with controls for sharing, access, and QR codes.

Make a coffee shareable

  1. In the Sharing list, find the coffee you want to share.
  2. Turn on the Shared toggle for that coffee.
  3. Choose an access type:
    • Public — anyone with the link can view the taste profile.
    • Login required — only signed-in users can view it.
  4. Use the copy link button to grab the share URL for that coffee.

Generate and download a QR code

Once a coffee is shared (or, for roasters, marked for sale), QR actions appear on its row.

  1. Click the QR code button to preview the code.
  2. Download it as a PNG or SVG — SVG is best for print because it scales cleanly.
  3. Print the QR code on bags, shelf talkers, or menus. Scanning it opens the coffee's public taste profile.

For roasters: your storefront

Roastery accounts also get a public storefront that lists every coffee marked For Sale. Find the storefront link in the Sharing section's Quick Links — copy it or open it to preview.

Tips

  • Use bulk actions to make several coffees shareable at once.
  • Pick Public access for retail QR codes so customers do not have to log in to scan.
